When it comes to Oklahoma, one thing we always have is hot summers and the best way to cool down is some fun at the water park. Recently I was given the chance to check out Andy's Alligator Water Park in Norman and this is one place you are going to love!
If you are interested in the attractions, you can check out theirsite. They have two large water slides, Paradise River, and a huge children's area. They also have a bar, snack area, and a nice gift shop. The prices here were affordable and not over the top like some water parks.
They have their prices listed online. If you plan to make a full day out of it, my advice is to check out the pass that is unlimited for both parks. It is worth it and will save you money. They also don't charge for tube rentals or parking which is a huge savings.
Andy's Alligator Water Park is the perfect place to spend an entire day with the family. My daughter is five years old and was old enough to do every single thing in the park. You are only required to be 42 inches tall for the biggest slide.
They offer private cabanas for an extra fee, but they are worth it if you are spending the day at the park. You will receive free bottles of water, wait staff, and even your own locker in the cabanas. Our favorite part was that we never had to wait in line for food or drinks because our waitress was always checking on us and getting us whatever we needed.
From the cabana area and also the lounge chairs, you can see the children's Cowabunga Cove. This area has water falling everywhere, three slides, and is all safe for your kids. There is no deep water so it makes it where you don't feel worried letting them run through the area. Andy's Alligator Park impressed us with the lifeguards everywhere making sure your children are safe.
If you are looking for huge thrill rides, you will not find them at Andy's Alligator Water Park. If you want a fun day for the entire family, this is the perfect place for you to go. I highly recommend this park and also checking out the Fun Park next door. They are located at I-35 and Indian Hills Road.
